Baek simply happened to have awakened the power. He is the chosen one of his family.

But that power still came from an irregular.

The problem with this is that Baam and V's powers are more tied to darkness, not something like the sun and stars. So, if there really is something more I genuinely believe it's another Irregular.

I don't think that's problematic. If the endgame here is some variety of "shining light on darkness" then I don't think this is at odds with the darkness which bam or v apparently wield. If this for some reason relates to arlen then it could even be something beyond V's knowledge as arlen apparently wandered around and lost her mind. Maybe Baek's plot purpose is related to her coming to regret what she did to her baby's corpse. Or maybe Baek's fate is connected to rachel.

Yes but it's not that strange after hundred of years. Although plenty of characters stay the same mostly the same because they don't age. I think Luslec looks like this because of a Sorcery Contract. Not that different from Hoaqin.

We just have to wait and see. I personally think he’s been boosted by Arlene. Maybe Arlen gave him one of her eyes.

Could be a Shining One but if it is then wouldn't Urek recognize that power? When he heard about Leo/Neo, he knew it was the doing of a Shiny. Here he is clueless.

Yeah they also count. I wanted to see a towerborn that was truely powerful without being influenced by an irregular in any way. Maybe only beings like Rak will fall in this category from now on.

Even then holding an irregular should be impossible. Even Enkidu which was special couldn't do so. Here we can see Nameless is even conscious.

I'm not sure of your point. If we go by the lore there are tentatively 4 towerborn folk in the rankings that hold a candle to family heads. Enne, adori, luslec and baek (technically there's also the 3 lords but their existence at this point is unlikely). As in, half of the towerborn folk that hold a candle to family heads are children of the family heads. We don't have a ton of information on the nameless princess of course but she seems strong even for a princess (she basically wrecked garam) and her existence was dangerous enough to be on the empire's hitlist along with wielding zahard's power, snake power (maybe) and having a special status as someone with an empty soul (whatever that means). Let alone the fact that she is actually housing an irregular. That said, it is entirely possible she is only able to host mago at all because mago ran out of power.

Lots of theories could open, man. I think people are just fixated on Shinies. They were just the 6 brightest. There could be some other shining with the power of moon, sun and water. As we know water creates life just like light did. Shinsu is also water in it's purest form.

V could be a descendant of water god like that.

So, thinking about the poll options from last week, I guess we can say that Baek is definitely not an Ari or related to the snake. He is either a Pure Towerborn or of Irregular descent(Irregular who isn't from the GWs).

The Ari really do shady stuff... I am more and more convinced that they adopted Androssi.

This would be an interesting plot point. Though it seems weird that an ari branch family would have that much interest in producing a princess at any cost.

Not a top towerborn. Webtoon has hyped other 3. She is just talented that's it. We all know talented isn't the strongest like Yuri is no where even the BL level as of this moment. Blossom isn't top 3 FL. Her only feat one webtoon is killing some princess while being boosted by 2 13 MS

Quadrado is more like Amizu, Icarus, and Yeon Ilarde(if she’s cannon) imo. They’re strong helpers of the GWs but not TT caliber.

We don't know how strong quadrado is. We also saw a bit of luslec when he tried to retrieve amizo and it's clear that back then he wasn't nearly as strong as he is now. Amizo was probably monstrously powerful but towerborn standards but she didn't seem comparable to the family heads.

We don't know if garam belongs to a great family or not. If we go by vibes the most obvious candidate would be the ari family since they suddenly gained a ton of plot relevance and her mission seems fairly adjacent to the black ops stuff the ari manage.

Saying that Enne isn't a Top Towerborn is ridiculous. Yuri can definitely fight BHs and mentioning her doesn't prove anything since she has a lot of room for growth.

I doubt that. Not everyone who climbed with FLs were powerful. It's not that hard for 13 to carry some fodders too. Shibisu isn't that strong. Enzo isn't that strong. Besides she died just too early and easily. I doubt Mirchea or Adori would have died that easily to random slashes made by Enkidu
