#7. Refrain from self advertising or advertising Youtubers videos in the comments.
#8. Constant fanart posts just for the sake of praising a favorite series is prohibited, this rule doesn't apply for official art by Jump artists posted on social media, they're fine to post.
#9. Don't discuss or hype chapter spoilers before Sunday release, only comment if is related to a series surviving status and do it only inside the spoiler tag.
#10. Regarding rule #9, an exception will be made for when we have new series, in this case, spoilers will be allowed only for the first 3 chapters of a new series for the users who are interested in knowing informations and details about the new series, these spoilers will obviously be kept under tags to protect anyone that doesn't want to be spoiled, so don't worry about it.

Rather than komi, Jump should poach Kocha Agasawa from Jump Plus. Ramparts of Ice is one of the best SoL / Romance Manga out there. And "You and I are Opposites" is way better written than any Jump Romance manga ever serialise.

3 days until the cover of Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi (don't disappoint me Shinuki! hahaha)

Anyway, talking about this week's releases (no spoilers):
- Hima-ten: predictable, you could smell it from last year that the couple was those 2.
- Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi: This new arc could hold some interesting surprises, the final panel is really cool, reminiscent of a bit of Naruto and a bit of Bleach.
- UNDER DOCTOR: Quiet chapter, not among the best but not bad either (it gave me a bit of the vibes from chapter 2)... Haiji is in full zen mode hahah
- HAL Formula: I properly caught up on chapter 1 and read the second one and it's very interesting.. Hatesaka really has a beautiful pencil (art style)
- Canon Master: It doesn't completely have the SAND LAND vibes I was looking for but it's a good start (let's see how it goes)
- Kagurabachi: What can I say... it's on hiatus now, but Hokazono used all the available ink in the office to go out as a hero

The comment isn't about Hima-Ten, is about the idea Naoshi has anything to teach anyone about how to write romance, and please, give me a break, i read Nisekoi weekly from the first to final chapter, that thing had barely any real development after chapter 50 when Chitoge realised her feelings, from that moment Naoshi froze the manga into a infinite cycle of useless comedy chapters without any sort of real development or stake etween the characters, the comedy was mostly pretty childish and not to mention adding more and more girls just for the sake of milking more volumes out of it (not even some fanservice ffs), trying to gaslight into believing a big chunk of Nisekoi isn't just useless filler is hilarious.

And yes, he absolute has things to learn, Nisekoi is something from nearly 15 years ago, Nisekoi had good timing with a interesting premise & characters in the first 50 chapters which were able to hold the manga for the long run, not to mention the anime from Shaft which gave the boost, but the childish type of romantic & comedy writing Nisekoi had isn't gonna fly anymore with current readers having experienced much better romance writing like Blue Box and series that actually goes for kissing instead of what was that "kiss" in the final chapter, if Naoshi comes back with the same mentality he had with Nisekoi he's very likely going to flop.

I remember from a history series I was watching involving Jump and how certain authors couldn’t keep up with either changes in the magazine or a certain genre that is involved in the magazine. 2 examples were when the Kinnikuman duo tried writing other series only to flop and not find another hit when other ambitious works were being published. There was also the transition from the golden age which led to the dark age when artists such as Tsukasa Hojo, Tetsuro Hara, Akira Miyashita, and Masami Kurumada, all left Jump and a focus on newer artists came in, and that is what is happening now.

This was something that I had when I was reading with others regarding Ryuhei Tamura with Hungry Marie, and a couple of my friends said, “he’s still writing as if he’s still stuck in 2009.” Honestly yeah, I can see it, but other than that, with what you said regarding Komi, I do think he has a lot to learn. Heck after reading his recent one-shot, he’s still stuck in both the past and his bad habits are still present. Where I saw that was his lead with how dense he was. But reading Hima-Ten! and Blue Box, both Taiki and Tenichi can be dense but they aren’t dumb, like uber dumb where they can’t get a clue. That is where I draw the line so that they don’t become unlikable that it will become intolerable.

I never knew Hima-ten fans were so schizophrenic. The entire subreddit genuinely believe the ending was changed due to a populaity poll that... check notes* that they made it the fuck up themselves.

They probably overlap with 5toubun fans. I've seen the same behavior from Nino fans.

A very recurring theme on Shonen Jump is veteran authors coming back with a new series and bringing the "bad" things from the popular one into the new one. Sorachi is doing it too currently.

Yeah and other few things like too much dialogue (Jp fans have complained about Class 2B having too much text sometimes)

But that's also something to blame, maybe even more, in the editors because they're the ones who should be doing their job and advise the authors to not do these things.

But that's also something to blame, maybe even more, in the editors because they're the ones who should be doing their job and advise the authors to not do these things.

Well, I know that Sorachi likes to have his massive amount of humorous dialogue, which really doesn’t bother me as much. I would say things are starting to get interesting with Class 2-B, so it’s not that terrible to me as it is something I have come to expect from Sorachi. As for the editorial departments concerned, I am 50/50 on that one. You could get an editor who has great insight, understands, story, character, and pacing, along with catching certain art mistakes. If you’re adaptable to many genres and can deliver that hit, then I’m positive, or you can be a Taguchi and fuck things up. What some of these artists and editors need is confidence, but there is a fine line between confidence and arrogance. If it’s the latter and you don’t take notes or fail to give them will lead to bad results.

@Shinuki no Reborn are the JP Himaten fans having a meltdown like the international fans?

Reading so far in some Forums like Animanch (lots of comments) most seems to be fine with Honoka winning because makes sense to what Tenichi always felt but not very satisfied with the chaotic way the story reached that point, which i do agree it could have landed better if not "rushed" which i don't even think it was the editorial forcing anything but Ono wanting to end the series.

Last chapter felt like Ono was setting up the trip as a final arc to resolve everything but he just went and did in 1 chapter...

Well, reading comments about Cannon Master in the forums, so far is actually pretty decent, even on Jump Matome of all places there is plenty of positive comments, of course there is the negative ones, mostly saying the manga feels like just "axe-bait", something that its going to be axed in 2/3 volumes or that they prefer the master instead of the kid but overall comments are decent, the art is being widely praised and the action scenes are also being praised.

Personally i'm just not sure if Cannon Master has what it takes to shine in this exactly moment when there's so many stuff going on in the magazine with Under Doctor selling well, Kinato selling decently, Roku & Class 2B ranking well, Animal Signal being praised, Hal Formula also with positive comments and people cheering for Terasaka + HxH & Bleach return, i feel like the series might end up being outshined unless it turns out to be really good!

The "only" thing that can save Cannon Master is if Machida turns out to be the next Toriyama (in the art of drawing vehicles, robots, etc.. if you know what I mean)

For the rest, also seeing what awaits us in September in terms of batch (so the farewell of Hima-ten, Sakamoto Days and Blue Box, at least it seems that way), there is the possibility that they will have more chapters available to show their potential and not the usual 15/20.
