Like Gustang's reaction is an indication of one's virtue of morality.
Gustang's reaction to V is simply hatred for the fact that he gave him more responsibility to prevent the great warriors from fighting over minor issues raised by tower-born people. It's not V's fault that he sucked at his job. LOL.

This isn't an issue of morality, gustang is definitely an antagonist and mostly a villain in the grand scheme of things. But we have a more or less clear picture of what gustang's mindset is. They are all unnecessary to the tower, they have done enough shit. It's time to die. Let alone that no part of V's presence in the story has been framed as possitive, he is framed as simply yet another asshole who would manipulate and control bam.

V wasn't the one that gave gustang that responsibility. When they were kids V thought gustang would be fit to solve conflicts between family heads. The stuff with not concerning themselves over the thoughts of bugs came ages later, probably even after V was already gone.

Arlen's situation is weird. I don't think she was plotting anything like that. It doesn't make sense from what we know? Nameless's body would be a nerf to Arlen, unlike V inside Baam.

Why would Nameless's body be a nerf to Arlene?

Even Baam, who was born from 2 Great Warriors is far weaker physically than a Princess. From what little we know of her, Arlene is not really a physical fighter either, she's a sorceress. If anything, Nameless's body would be a buff.

Yes, but as to why he's doing it—that part is yet to be revealed. So I would say most of the things are just our assumptions on what and why V did whatever he did.

The elephant in the room with the spinoff ending is that Edhan seemed more concerned about the Towerborns who escaped the Wells than the Irregulars like Mago, that he knows for a fact are extremely dangerous even without their full power. Like it really makes no sense for him to worry more about Baek than Mago or Latour. He didn't even ask Urek about who Mago was or what she wanted, he even stated during his fight with Mago that he Had questions that he wanted to ask.

I didn't see anything online but with SIU not even mentioning his next work progress status (like he did at the end of S3 saying that work on the spinoff would begin shortly afterwards) I am quite sure that we will get at least a 4/6 months break. I just hope he doesn't have any serious health issues.
