It's been a pleasure to join you all through the end of the spin-off; I hope we'll see each other again when TOG returns.
Even baek can see past(maybe even future we dont know) and it(Shinsoo) tells him alot about all things like he himself has saidOr maybe, Zahard did not create or made Dorothy a princess. Snake says "our Dorothy", and Snake doesn't seem to like Zahard very much. But I have no idea how Snake would have some Zahard blood at his disposal to do the trick though. It's not because of Mago that Zahard could have changed his mind though, since Garam was waiting for centuries to kill her.... unless Zahard can see the future.
Yeah ...Dorothy and Androthy
For the tower and towerborn fate is absolutely a thingI don't think SIU ever confirmed that fate is a thing or not? Though in the story it's implied that it does in general with the way things go for Baam, there is a conflict about it in the FoD arc where Rachel declares that she doesn't believe in it and there is Hwa Ryun who clings to it. Baam himself never says what he thinks about it but he is a "fight against your fate" believer.
The snake is clearly Pro-Zahard though it might have changed. He accepted to work with Dorothy because he was threatened but he also doesn't believe that they can beat Zahard. There is the possibility that Snake and gang went to war against Zahard with V and Arlene, and maybe they got some blood from that. In any case, we will definitely know more about Dorothy in the future, all possibilities are pretty much opened right now, but bar the details, I tend to think that she is not a regular princess and that Zahard may not even be involved in her making. I find the parallel between Dorothy and Androthy very interesting as well, maybe it's just a pun, maybe there is something more at play.
The Tower's "Fate" is not real, just like everything in there down to the concept of the Sun and stars itself being nothing but a facsimile, an imitation and nothing like the real thing. For the tower and towerborn fate is absolutely a thing
And irregular can change it, showing that fate is something choosed and imposed by the tower, so actually Urek is objectively wrong in that exchange with Baek, if the tower still acknowledged Baek as a towerborn, then he do have a fate
Z chatting with baam do imply there a "real" fate
Tough now, im usure if Baam fate is a real fate or just someone strong imposing his will, like Traum choosing to kill Laura and saying it's fate
I think SIU wants to be ambiguous about it but Urek saying fate isn't a thing doesn't mean much since Urek himself is a special being. Someone could easily refute him and say that he can talk this way because he is a special snowflake. For the tower and towerborn fate is absolutely a thing

For all I know, you may be right, but SIU has been very SIU-like and all the stuff about the snake dudes is a confused mess. We don't even know if the mud snake, the snake charmer and the white snake are the same entity. The snake is clearly Pro-Zahard though it might have changed. He accepted to work with Dorothy because he was threatened but he also doesn't believe that they can beat Zahard.
I highly doubt that you can create a Zahard Princess with just some blood. There is more to this. The girl also has to be young.
As for the names, Shin has notes at the end of the chapter.

About that, I think the irony was that Urek himself is fated. Not in the sense of being scripted from beginning to end, but in the sense of being appointed by the universe. That's why when he told Baek that he was too insignificant to be fated, it also felt as if Urek, as a real fated one, has suffered a lot. This was almost a bit melancholic.I think SIU wants to be ambiguous about it but Urek saying fate isn't a thing doesn't mean much since Urek himself is a special being. Someone could easily refute him and say that he can talk this way because he is a special snowflake.
It's kinda similar for Baam too because he is a special being and many people envy him but the story with V might change that.
Records?I will check later but aren't you confusing fate with "records"? I think it was more about their reality warping powers?
It’s real for the people born inside it, so I don’t really see the point in calling it fake; the Tower is its own world, with it's own rule , and it’s deterministic, knowing there a otherworld with different rule doesn't make tower less in his territoryThe Tower's "Fate" is not real, just like everything in there down to the concept of the Sun and stars itself being nothing but a facsimile, an imitation and nothing like the real thing.
The Towerborns are simply shackled, this is not some grand working of Fate tying them down to oppress their ass AKA what Urek was actually referring to, Fate itself on the Universal scale rather than some fake localized thing.
Baek is free of that.
Baek is free of that.
I said this before but I'm beginning to think the GW stopped climbing tbh because reaching the next floor meant one of them conquering the tower and absorbing the whole thing within themselves, effectively killing all the friends and family they made on their climb. It's kinda interesting in a way how the FHs, who can also be seen as tyrants are seen as Guardians of the Tower in a way? In the main story, this side of them is ignored/irrelevant.
They're prisoners of their own mind already, almost every last one of them so even the Tower's "Fate" isn't doing the heavy lifting on their oppression. It’s real for the people born inside it, so I don’t really see the point in calling it fake; the Tower is its own world, with it's own rule , and it’s deterministic, knowing there a otherworld with different rule doesn't make tower less in his territory

The Tower's "Fate" is not responsible for Baek inheriting the power of an Irregular, this is literally an outside equation not under the Tower's control in the first place because of glaringly obvious reasons.Baek is free from the rules of another world that he barely knows, that he’ll never see and where he can’t even live; while the world he live do indeed control his life as long he doesn't leech on Urek fate binding irregular privilege
what a great way to confort someone
I sure hope it'll continue. At the very least I wanna see the realisation of Hansungs S1 bullshit speech of 'everything you desire is at the top' and how disappointing it inevitably will beBtw do u guys think we will see tower climbing? Atp I doubt it will be shown, maybe only important floors will be shown? Also how long will be the time skip?
Yes, people are talking about Arlen etc but the story will still be mostly focused on the Regulars.Btw do u guys think we will see tower climbing? Atp I doubt it will be shown, maybe only important floors will be shown? Also how long will be the time skip?

I don't think they stopped climbing mostly because they had good intentions when even Arlen wanted to continue. Zahard stopping his climb means the death of Zahard the Adventurer which was his main trait. It definitely shows that something went wrong with them. We know Zahard made the wrong choice during his Revolution too.I said this before but I'm beginning to think the GW stopped climbing tbh because reaching the next floor meant one of them conquering the tower and absorbing the whole thing within themselves, effectively killing all the friends and family they made on their climb.
I think they came to view tower borns as insects after some traumatic event that forced them to realize that one day the tower would be climbed by someone they can't control and they wouldn't get a say when it's time to say goodbye.
they're sort of trapped in a magical trolley problem because they can either end their own tedious eternal existences or they can save the tower. They have to choose.
I think choosing young girls is just so it's easier to propagandize them. Like Yurin said, it's a hard job, an older person would be more apt to refuse.I highly doubt that you can create a Zahard Princess with just some blood. There is more to this. The girl also has to be young.
Please don't think one-dimensionally. Obsession can come because of many reasons and not only because of her beauty. If Zahard has feelings for Enne he could simply marry her and a lot of issues would be solved. He had no reason to let her get cursed either.
There is more to love than beauty, but why would he be obsessed with someone other than Arlen, for something other than love? What does Enne bring to the table? Please don't think one-dimensionally. Obsession can come because of many reasons and not only because of her beauty.

the truth that the KING is hiding, given he's not the real Zahard according to Enne. We don't know what Zahard did after Enne was sealed. What does Enne bring to the table?
