Hahaha some offline shops are now asking customers to name the product before they can join tje queue.

Nice try, but this still will not prevent scalping. First, naming product is very easy, even for people unfamiliar with the IP. Plus, product names are actually printed on the product itself.

What's actually work is giving pop quiz about the IP that only true fans can answer (e.g. name all of Megumi's 10 shikigamis, etc). But, for the staff in questions it will be IMPOSSIBLE to know enough about all IPs to pull it off (especially for place like animate who sell thousands of different IP)

Just a heads up, since July 20 will be Marine day in Japan, a holiday, physical Shonen Jump will be released on July 21, Tuesday, instead of July 20 which is a monday, the digital version will still release on July 20 & Manga Plus chapters on July 19, the thing is that it means leaks will potentially be delayed this week by a day, there's still a chance we will still get the leaks, either by me or other source in the usual night maybe some hours later but nothing is sure right now!

Also, nothing 100% confirmed but there are some birds singing that there's a chance of something getting announced in this week issue #34 or next one...

This only works if it’s also something casual fans know as well, and speaking as someone who’s seen all the anime for JJK (not the manga, despite being heavily spoiled), I can only name 4 of Megumi’s 10 shadows off the top of my head (the rabbits, nue, the pair of dogs, and Mahoraga) and everything else would be a guess because they do not happen enough in-series for me to recall. Only the extra dedicated JJK fans will remember all 10 shadows.

And like was mentioned before, a pop-quiz for WSJ issues becomes even harder because you have no idea what series someone is buying Jump to read. Maybe a generic question like “what series are you looking forward to reading?” and then whatever series they answer with you ask them a basic question (if OP/something more mainstream, one of the side characters names, if a more niche series could probably just ask the MC’s name or something). Or just ask them to tell you something about the series that isn’t super obvious.

This only works if it’s also something casual fans know as well, and speaking as someone who’s seen all the anime for JJK (not the manga, despite being heavily spoiled), I can only name 4 of Megumi’s 10 shadows off the top of my head (the rabbits, nue, the pair of dogs, and Mahoraga) and everything else would be a guess because they do not happen enough in-series for me to recall. Only the extra dedicated JJK fans will remember all 10 shadows.

One Jump mag/person/store. The cashier scans the ID of the buyer. People can buy up to 3/person in total, one in 3 different stores. Even if the buyer goes to another store after that, he can't buy more. Of course, they can ask their friend or whatever to go to the store too, but they won't be able to buy 100 copies of Jump and it will be a pain in the oshiri to buy a lot in a short time. They'll have to work waaaaay harder to get their mag.

EDIT: would require some database, but hey! When the Japanese want to create mendoukusai systems, they can do it very easily.

My guess for next issue is among Sakamoto Days or a sudden Under doctor or Roku.

For color pages I would assume Nue is the likeliest one alongside Akane Banashi and another one shot.

Cause I genuinely believe if anything bleach related is to come it would make sense to wait for the double issue for new in regards to that.

Issue 33 2026:

1. Nue's Exorcist: Kasha's great, evil plan- FORESTATION! Crazy how this one barrier is the thing keeping this evil god from conquering the planet, and now he has the means to break it. No captain in his way, he outclasses the goddess in front of him, and is ready to become what he thinks is a "Perfect Being". But even in his plan, Raisei rescued him. Kasha git beaten down, stabbed, kicked, slashed, he bled. And for all his gloating, the successes he holds are all due to others, either Raisei's planning and constant sacrifice, or Kasha stealing: he stole the Dragon King's power, he stole the lives of one family's humans generations, their energy and their emotions. Everything he has is something that doesn't belong to him, he's an hypocritical bastard through and through. He calls himself a Ruler, yet he is nothing more than a parasite on others. Can't wait for Raisei to inevitably sabotage or outright backstab him- look at Kasha's back, completely exposed to him!
And we cut to the school- and our boy, Zenno. To talk about this sequence, I need to state something: I LIKE that Zenno's not a main character, or an Exorcist. He is the EMBODIMENT of the Human Warrior that Gakuro and the series as a whole reveres. He saves others, stays strong and inspires. Even this one, nameless exorcist who would struggle with a Level 2, is brought to fight the Level 3 head on and fulfill his duty as security. And it does bring us down back to reality: Level 3s are rare, and horrifying. They can kill a person with one swing, a regular exorcist with 2, if even that, and good luck killing these bastards. We've been so used to seeing Level 4s and Hyo level beings fighting recently that we lost grasp on the true horror of Spirits. This is why Zenno stays special in spite of so little screen time, he was ready to fight this thing that could easily kill him in one blow-
And here comes GAKURO!! That shot of him standing in front of the level 3s, a direct callback to Zenno in chapter 1, it's a true testament to both Gakuro's growth as a Warrior and person, and the relationship he and Zenno share. One of trust, respect, and now mutual support. He was inspired by this one guy his age fighting for tge right thing and now here he stands doing the same. That "I got it" is such a beautiful moment, man.
And here we have it, the flashback chain, the reflection of the journey both Gakuro and we, the readers, have been through. Every battle, every struggle, has all led up to this. Now with his own power unlocked, he can go save Nue. She is part of Squad 6, an irreplaceable part of Gakuro's life, she is a precious friend, companion and even more. This is Gakuro's version of "Saving Everyone", no compromises!
That said, given how he is likely comparable to the Gakuro that fought Wanyudo back in chapters 50-60, he is in NO goddamn WAY doing anything to Kasha right now. This is where Squad 6 comes into play. They are doing this together, just as Gakuro stated at the very beginning of the arc. Besides, all the captains are either trapped, or Sumeragi, the coolest dude alive, who's REALLY stopping them from saving Nue?
Needless to say, 12/10!

2. Roku's House Of Oddities: EASILY the funniest chapter of the week, bar none. Johan being this prideful bitch about his powers and status as vampire costing him the answers left and right is so, so funny. The Malediction Boyz being really nice dudes, just passonate, is something I appreciate, it felt rewarding seeing them take that photo. By now, the Akari household is a family that will inevitably have to part ways. That feeling of inevitable end makes all this fun so much more complex. And now we got seemingly got a villain watching them!

3. Hal Formula: Miharu's going way too far. That bit at the start may have been used in a hopeful and lighthearted way, but Hinokura's reaction is the audience's- that Miharu's going nuts. For now it works, he keeps accomplishing new goals thanks to this lack of fear, and determination, but it feels like it will break him eventually. Regardless the moment is bright and the excitement is high. Too high to be safe.

4. Ichi The Witch: For some reason I did not think about how Dess' Circle would look like, but damn is it a good reveal. You can feel her brutal anger towards Human Haters from the looks of the depths alone, and the sheer amount of Majik stored up in here effortlessly tells the story of the greatest witch and her accomplishments. Hitsugi's little smile at the end is the creepiest cherry on top. Every time Desscarass is the focus, the series is at its best, I swear.

5. Someone Hertz: It's good that we are seeing more from the eyes of someone that isn't Mimei and Kurage. Everything about this little chapter is honestly a delight, Natsu's mess of thoughts is a funny joke every time and it made for a very unique spin on a formula that I sometimes get a little bored by (you know, the "Mimei and Kurage hang out to come up with jokes and romance shenanigans ensue" chapters). I hope we get more of this, it's a good insight on the minds of other characters.

6. Drawn To The Fire: For once, for ONCE, the team feels like it matters beyond the usual two. Yes the game was skimmed through, signaling a possible axe, but it also showed the roles filled by everyone, synergy that wasn't there before. And competent character work to booth? That pathetic feeling of insecurity caused by your own mistakes, followed by excuse after excuse, is all too real. Damnit, it feels like we are back to chapter 1's quality for once...

7. Animal Signal: Kokone is adorable as usual, and that suit looks amazing on her... But sadly that's as much as I can really say beyind the jokes also being funny (the gorilla shit was great especially). Now that volume 1 is almost over, I REALLY hope we start committing to a more overarching development, especially regarding Kokone's relationship with Tsubasa and more of the effects of Anima on society. Again, good chapter on its own, but I fear that the series is just not gonna start truly focusing until it's too late.

8. Cannon Master: Everyone recognizes Bharat's qualities except for himself. I like that he doesn't fight to pass the role of commander to somebody else, but rather accepts it and decides to do all he can. And Rhuga is based for wanting Ur out more than Bharat stepping down, I get you dude! But seriously, I like this bit of worldbuilding, and Bharat standing his ground. If the series keeps this up I may warm up to it.

9. Kinato's Magic: So the Majo Arc ends. Without a doubt the most competent part of the Kinato as a whole. Terasu reigns supreme as the best character, for how low that bar is, and Kinato himself, while not exactly exciting, was... alright, better than before.

10. Class 2B Hero Destroyerz: We've finally gotten to the proper Hero Destroying, and it only took... well over a volume to do so. Better late than never I guess. Mogura has already become the best character in the series because he actually drives the plot forward. Everyone's improving because of him.

11. Under Doctor: An on screen surgery, what a rarity in this Doctor manga! Jokes aside, this chapter encapsulates my biggest issue with Under Doctor as a story. This part of Shuli's growth in the medical field could have been part of a longer storyline, this injury could have been the result of Haiji pushing himself too far against a greater threat on his own, and it would be a fairly powerful moment- but instead it's an injury that he got from four randos we'll likely never see again and it will be solved next chapter.
