I heard its likely a monthly series. If anything its not weekly spoken jump being desperate but jump square. But that is more my own opinion piece.
Nah, no one but people connected to the editorial knows about this kind of info right now.

But yeah, seeing Bleach & Naruto serializing again alongside One Piece will be something cool af & trippy for us longtime Jump followers :teehee
I'm a longtime Jump follower and I think it's ridiculous and bad for the magazine. Always liked Jump because it looks forward and is a space focused on giving equal chances to newbies, it's a magazine where Naruto's creator had his new series axed while the newbie Kimetsu no Yaiba was becoming one of the biggest hits ever. Jump becoming Marvel is worse than any new manga selling "little".

New kids won't care to read these boomer series that ended more than a decade ago and it wouldn't do anything about magazine sales. One Piece is miles bigger as a brand in Japan than Naruto and Bleach could ever dream of being, they won't get hundreds of thousands of readers just because they're having sequels and spin-offs of stuff already seen as Old. One Piece is trendy and actually still in publication, they already get older readers from it.

If this helped a lot, V-Jump would be flying off the shelves because it has the "official" Dragon Ball sequel and in reality barely anyone in Japan seems to even consider Super as more important than GT, they're both side projects, not the real Dragon Ball.

Social media fans crazy about sales would be saying the current line-up sucks even if they were selling a million per volume. They already do that with Jujutsu and Kimetsu as if they're factually worse series than Naruto and Bleach. Nostalgia is a hell of a drug. lol

Jump doing this wouldn't be them desperate, but stupid. They already sell a ton and have the biggest series in the market without the need to kill of their young readers and chasing this creatively bankrupt greedy self defeating american comics business model that already failed in its own local market.

Very clearly about the period of Naruto becoming Hokage, judging from this teaser. If it's really drawn by Kishimoto himself, I would guess at it being a 1 volumes miniseries in WSJ like the Scarlet Spring manga he did.

My speculation - Naruto wants Sasuke to become Hokage, Sasuke pushes Naruto to do so believing he doesn't deserve to remain in the village, and they have big fight about it as the climax (and also we'll see a bunch of other characters as younger adults than in Boruto of course, for the sake of giving them new character designs).

Perhaps taking over for a round when Witch Watch concludes? Imagine if we get One Piece, Naruto and Bleach running at the same time.

That last part has me shaking my head. Not in a no but a yes because of how creatively bankrupt America with its industry and country is as a whole. It makes me look out to appreciate and have a sense that most (on occasion) have control of their own creative destiny.

I guess if we have to see if it's going to be in WSJ but I assume it probably will. I'm excited to see Bleach and especially Naruto again but it's hard not to argue that these moves don't give off pure desperation from Jump
Desperation?

I thought everything was great with Roku, 2B, Animal Signal, Ura, and Kiyoshi, but apparently not, since we have to bring Kishimoto and Kubo back.

Personally, I'd prefer Gotouge back.

I watched the Ninku anime and read what was available of the manga and the anime is almost entirely filler. It adapted I think the first two chapters, did an entirely original story for the rest of its run (in which one of the manga's main characters was turned into an antagonist), then right at the very end adapted a couple more chapters.

I'd assume this will crossover with the manga version of the characters since the original author's involved but who knows. Perhaps if it does well we could see Ninku be the next classic series to get an anime? The manga's First Stage arc is only 53 chapters (plus a couple bonus ones) so you could easily fit that into 2 cour.

Spinoff and extra chapters always happen for a long time even for other series. The new naruto manga can always be just a one shot and it may not even be in wsj

The way you're underestimating the hell out of how huge and loved Naruto is in Japan it's actually crazy lol

And btw, the "new kids" all know Naruto lmao!

Not even Kagurabachi or Ichi will bring WSJ back to a golden age or anything. You just want to hate upon those series.

I live in Japan and teach middle school students and, from my experience, the kids all know Naruto but barely any have actually read or watched it.

Dragonball super is seen as not the "real" one because the art is not done by Toriyama. Toriyama's art is just too iconic and imppssible to replicate. As a hardcore dragonball fans (been reading and watching it since age 3), there is something very off about super's art that i refused to read it beyond bits i see.

Might be cool for old school fans but this is fairly uninteresting to me tbh. Live action unironically more interesting to me lol
Loved it, i really hope this is the first step for a Ninku remake adapting the whole original & sequel manga, i always found Ninku to be a very interesting series, and being like Kishi's biggest influence could really help the series to finally getting to be "known" in the west.

Naruto already had a trash ending, Boruto is not that far behind in that regard, and now they'll make another series after the Ninja War. Completely unnecessary. It really shows some level of desperation or at least Kishimoto's political power in the company.

As if any publisher in Japan would pass in the chance of getting a new short Naruto manga done by Kishi lol

We get infinite sequels for series not even 30% as popular as Naruto all the time in the manga industry.

I just don't know why Kishimoto does not write something new, like with no Naruto or something like that. It is not likely any brand-new work from him would just flop and harm Shueisha's trust withing bookstores.

Because Kishi wants to live his life that he was unable to live during Naruto, and even after Naruto ended he still fully involved with the franchise and Boruto serialization supervising it. He will not draw weekly manga anymore besides short Naruto stuff. Maybe in the future he will do a monthly manga since he still young.

Let's just hope any new work he makes outside of Naruto or related does well and sells good. Because I am sure anthing he writes would be a certified hit and earn years of its story.

I'm not underestimating it, it's a huge series that is one of the most influential ever, But One Piece is just massive to a level nothing older can compare. New stuff like Kimetsu and Jujutsu can stand alongside it because they still have their anime currently in production. Kids are aware of Naruto and Bleach, but it's not like there's a huge number of them reading like they read One Piece or interact with the huge Youtube channels dedicated to One Piece discussion/theory crafting, watch the movies (RED being one of the biggest movies ever in Japan), listen to the popular songs from the show, make the card game one of the biggest in the market, etc.

It's hard to imagine there are tons of Bleach and Naruto fans not among the older audience that keeps reading Jump for One Piece.

Now you're making some way too bizarre claims, come on Kiaida.
It's the truth though? A very small fraction of Dragon Ball readers read Super, be it as volume or in the magazine, even though they treat it as a canon sequel and a lot of people don't even know much about it, meanwhile everyone knows the OG DB arcs and storylines. Every new Dragon Ball thing Toei announces is always aimed at the western audience that cares more about it. This a case for most of these projects, the Naruto event today was literally at New York Comic Con.
