we have to pay for the wristband to enter the club too. it's the only way club owners, bartenders and bouncer to identify those under the drinking age. those over 21 get wristbands while those under get black X's on their hands.
over here you can start drinking beer at the age of 16 but even then it isn't controlled that often. Maybe youngsters in america are easier caught (because they can drive at 16 while here you can drive at 18)
