YYH, Dr. Slump and Death Note are my favorite Jump adaptations. Bakuman also had a good one and Kuroko's is very good, the seasonal format has helped these shows a lot.

Academia has great art and character designs but I'm still waiting for the story to get there. It's okay.

Nobody would read them. This system is the main reason why Marvel and DC stopped trying new things decades ago.

People probably don't bother voting for HxH because they know it's going on hiatus in a few months no matter what they do.

Trigger has an anime 'feel' to begin with, its genre and style might have encouraged a studio to pick it up early. I think it's a good decision, it's early but there's plenty of material for a 13 episode season. I wonder if it will be a really loose adaptation. Maybe it doesn't matter how...
