I actually the Starbucks Refreshers more than the traditional energy drinks, but I wouldn't want to consume it every day. My heartbeat is already faster than average so I wouldn't want it to be even faster. :-_-

I read manga for enjoyment and entertainment, but certain chapters and scenes from Innocent stayed with me emotionally and mentally. The manga is one of the darkest and heaviest that I'm reading atm, and it guts me every chapter- yet I can't stop reading.

I'm reading HIVE, The Gamer and Dead Days from the LINE Webtoon translations. I don't know why I picked up HIVE and Dead Days when they both freak me out. XD

Lately I've been listening to Maximum the Hormone. They're famous for the Death Note OP, What's Up People, but I've also enjoyed listening to Koi no Mega Lover. I like how the latter song contrast a happy, jubilant mood with their usual metal style. :XD

I have a feeling that the Summer 2014 season was one of the stronger season in recent years- at least imo. Usually I watch a couple of series before dropping half of them, but there was not a single one that I dropped this season.

For the fall season, I'm going to watch Psycho-Pass for sure. Due to schoolwork, I can only pick one more so I will replace Kiseijuu (even though it does seem interesting) and will watch Donten ni Warau instead. I still need to get through the summer anime I've been holding off on. >_<

I don't know if it's related, but NHK doesn't have any ads so they rely on donations to keep their broadcast running. If Baby Steps was had a good reception, I can see NHK renewing another season to keep viewers happy (and donate more money).

I voted for Tokyo ESP. It's too bad that it hasn't been as popular as I feel it should be; fish that grants superpowers is an awesome and very creative concept.

I nominate Space Dandy S2 because its soundtrack was the only one I really took note of.

I voted for Barakamon since that's the one I've been watching, but I heard that Nozaki-kun is hilarious too.

I was recommended 珈琲店タレーランの事件簿 (Coffee-ten Tareeran no Jikenbo) by Takuma Okazaki and Otomodachikara Onegaishimasu by Shion Miura. They were recommended by a Japanese friend who has a lot of common interests with me so I'm definitely willing to give the two novels a try.

I'm glad to see Psycho-Pass dominating the polls! I loved watching it, and I'm glad other people also enjoyed it and want to see more. :)

I wonder if the rising status of Ken Nishikori will spark a new interest in tennis that would create another popular series to stand alongside PoT. Someone might as well take the opportunity now. :XD
