I think you guys are confused about hatsu cause you're mixing up (or making up)stuff about nen. Hatsu is just the way you personalize the way you use your aura and its affinities. Nowhere in the manga it says you need an exorcist to remove your hatsu if you need a new one... Exorcists are needed...
