Yeah, after I thought about it, Urahara has his zanpaktou too. It makes me wonder if its possible for Ichigo to walk around with his zanpaktou as a human. And Vaizard and Co. don't need to be out of their gigais for the battle, it seems.

So that bothers me, since Hirako had his zankaktou with him.

So if we went by that logic, that its only cloth that is handed out, all the Vaizard captains should have theirs still. Urahara should have his, Aizen his, etc. But if we went by the logic that it materialized and can be taken away, etc, then none of the Vaizards have it, Urahara doesn't...

What I'm getting at is this: Is the Captain's Coat something given, or does it magically appear on you like your whatchacallits, the normal shinigami clothing.
