Just on this point, I'd imagine it'd be more difficult then 'out of thin air' because summoning tends to require you to get some blood on your fingers and then make a (bit of) movement - both of which I imagine would be fairly difficult while your limbs are stuck in a swamp.

Neji. Gentle fist seems practically made for taking out those characters with that annoying one ability which makes them near-invulerable and leads to the 'they can't hurt you, you can't hurt them' scenario. Plus Neji is all-round superior.
