Enraged Rapid is able to combine with Traum the same way Bam can fuse with leviathan providing a power up. Gustang didn't try to tank their combined attack.

Thats a retcon. Siu wanted Urek special but the negative reaction made him decide to make Urek more special. Which makes sense series had to many tiers. Axis>Enryu>Admins>Urek> Family Head>High ranker>Advanced Rankers>Rankers. was just to many tiers.
