He is able to replace the Knights though, so whose to say he doesn’t just decide to cut his losses prematurely and rescind the contracts with the losers of the current matches. He did it willingly with Saturn and as far as we know, that didn’t cause a problem for him. On the other hand, maybe...

Looking at the chapter now, I’m reminded of Zoro’s fight with Mr. 1 and how he struggled to figure out how to cut through iron while fighting. I’ll be curious to see if Sommer’s kicks it up a notch in the following chapter now that he know’s his life is actually on the line here.

The chapter may just end with sommer’s death/defeat, leaving Imu’s reaction for next chapter.

Imu has been using small ranged bombs to pelt the gang during this battle. Ussop could potentially countersnipe those shots to create openings for the main attackers. His role is typically support and that method definitely fits into it.

As an awakened Zoan user, hopefully Luffy can recover from this quickly if he’s given some breathing room. Would suck to have him downed without doing some real damage. Very cool to see Imu start handing out such storied weapons to the knights. Can’t wait to see how these all loom. Shame Zoro...

I think that’s a great way of looking at it and given the recent chapter, and that is probably part of why Sanji doesn’t have Conquerors Haki now.

Found Family has been a long running theme in the series, yes. “The blood of the covenant is thicker than the water of the womb.”

Could the owl have simply removed the books themself? They made them giant sized with their power, maybe they shrunk them and hid when the fires started.

The most they ever did was briefly question the need to test their weapon on Lullusia. All imu said was it was close and the people there don’t matter. That was all it took for them to be on board. Short of him announcing he is going to kill them, they aren’t going to do much more than say “as...

Just a gut feeling here but Imu probably can’t use the full extent of their powers through a proxy. If they’re leaving the castle after discovering the powers of Nidhogg and Nika have joined forces, I can only imagine it’s to confront them directly. The abyss circle is still active in the castle...

That’s not counting the self propagating nature of the tech either. Remember, Imu only converted Broggy and Dorry. The rest were turned simply by being flanked. If theres no limit to that and your opponent doesn’t react well enough they can be converted too.

I’ll be curious to see how this goes for the domi reversi group. On the one hand I think they’re plenty capable of killing these guys down if that’s what it comes down to for reversing the effect. On the other hand the enemy can convert you into their ally just by taking a flanking position. Can...

Can see why Xebec wanted Harald and this fruit now. Stealing if would have worked too but he wouldn’t have gotten the full potential of the fruit. Shame giants age so much slower than humans or I think Xebec might have just just to Loki instead down the line.

Seeing this chapter makes me laugh at just how dead Shamrock and Gunko would have been if Loki had gotten free somehow during their meeting.

Vegapunk thought he could do some good within the system rather than outside the system. His advancements have helped improve the living standards of people throughout the world, making him very popular with the ordinary people. So much so that they believed his message about the void century...
