Looking at the chapter now, I’m reminded of Zoro’s fight with Mr. 1 and how he struggled to figure out how to cut through iron while fighting. I’ll be curious to see if Sommer’s kicks it up a notch in the following chapter now that he know’s his life is actually on the line here.

The chapter may just end with sommer’s death/defeat, leaving Imu’s reaction for next chapter.

Imu has been using small ranged bombs to pelt the gang during this battle. Ussop could potentially countersnipe those shots to create openings for the main attackers. His role is typically support and that method definitely fits into it.

As an awakened Zoan user, hopefully Luffy can recover from this quickly if he’s given some breathing room. Would suck to have him downed without doing some real damage. Very cool to see Imu start handing out such storied weapons to the knights. Can’t wait to see how these all loom. Shame Zoro...

Just a gut feeling here but Imu probably can’t use the full extent of their powers through a proxy. If they’re leaving the castle after discovering the powers of Nidhogg and Nika have joined forces, I can only imagine it’s to confront them directly. That’s not counting the self propagating nature of the tech either. Remember, Imu only converted Broggy and Dorry. The rest were turned simply by being flanked. If theres no limit to that and your opponent doesn’t react well enough they can be converted too.

I’ll be curious to see how this goes for the domi reversi group. On the one hand I think they’re plenty capable of killing these guys down if that’s what it comes down to for reversing the effect. Can see why Xebec wanted Harald and this fruit now. Stealing if would have worked too but he wouldn’t have gotten the full potential of the fruit. Shame giants age so much slower than humans or I think Xebec might have just just to Loki instead down the line.
