I think the guns don't cause the bone aliens to trip over because the guns create no force at all on impact, in the Tae mission the rapists got shot with the x-gun but they didn't even notice until their suits started leaking so it seems if your body armour is strong enough to withstand a hit...

Should we really be arguing over the realism of some aliens spores being able to recreate none-organic material? Everything in Gantz is flawed even some simple things don't make sense if you think about it, like how are you suppose to aim with the z-gun?They always shoot it straight forward yet...

I personal think these spores are based on the "Cordyceps fungi" since the none mutated humans seen earlier had some kind of fungus bursting out of their heads which the Cordyceps does to insects in real life, it also takes over the insect making them do things they would never originally do...
