All hashirama has to do is create the plant world and spam pollen everywhere. One does not simply walk away from pollen.

If Hashirama gets tagged it could still be just a clone or he might even be able to heal through rasengan/kunai stab.

The jutsu ranks are only taken into consideration in a direct confrontation i believe, otherwise Jiraiyas fire sealing method (B rank) would not be able to ''overcome'' amaterasu (S rank im assuming?).
