I remember how years ago my friends and I would speculate about what might happen if Kenpachi was to learn shikai. The consensus at the time was that the world would simply cease to be. A powerup for someone like him would be the Bleach equivalent of 'rocks fall, everybody dies'. It's fun to...

Yes, I remember. I guess that's why the similarities jumped out to me. In a way though, this kind of makes it feel like if DBZ and Naruto were set in the same universe, the entire Naruto story would take place decades after DBZ ended, as if Hashirama's generation are the original main...

Has anyone else noticed how much Hashirama behaves like Goku? I mean they're both ridiculously laid back, friendly and still manage to be top dogs in their respective universes. Even his interactions with Tobirama remind me of how Goku would interact with Vegeta towards the end of the Buu...

My money is on Juubi getting Kamui'd into the pocket dimension by Kakashi, Obito or both. This fight is more about them than Naruto (Naruto only serves as a physical reminder to Obito of the kind of person he used to be), I'm pretty sure we're gonna get a flashback that explains why Kakashi...

To me this chapter was long overdue, it seems like Kishimoto finally remembered he had a GLOBAL ARMY OF NINJAS at his disposal and it's about time they see some action again as a reminder that this isn't Naruto VS Obito & Madara, but the 4th (? not sure if I remember it right) great...

Great review, I enjoyed it a lot, here's my thoughts on the chapter: 1) I'm starting to believe that Tsukishima's item for his fullbring might not so much be his page marker, what if it's the whole damn book? What if keeping the marker in his book charges the marker somehow to take on the form...

I vote Ukita. 1) because I know he won't get any other votes otherwise 2) because he tends to fade into the background or serve as cannonfodder in battle (with one notable and awesome exception, I know) 3) because he's one of the very few main characters not blessed with nigh-superhuman...

For me, when I started reading, I liked how it starts off really basic, with characters you *might* even come across in real life. Of course then the masters came into the picture and the series took a different turn, but it's always entertained me :)

I vote Sakaki, because he is a supreme badass. That is all. Shigure is a close second but Sakaki wins because it seems to me that Shigure is the weakest of the bunch >>; or maybe there's some other TOTALLY MYSTERIOUS AND UNKNOWN REASON why she ends up looking the most battle damaged.

Re: To final arc or not to final arc! something truly nice would be if Kishi started off with a whole new bunch of genin, and in the last page of the chapter introduce an adult Naruto as their jounin leader. Naruto could be acting like a mix between Kakashi (laid back attitude, but serious...

Re: To final arc or not to final arc! I'd put my money on either a Naruto/Sasuke conclusion arc followed by a timeskip, or a timeskip followed by a Naruto/Sasuke conclusion arc. It'd be cool to see an adult Naruto at Minato/Kakashi's age leading his own bunch of genin... But that's perhaps...

I'm fairly certain that like Orochimaru, Kabuto is a neutral force in the shinobi world. By this, I mean neutral in that his only allegiance is to himself. Already he's spinning an elaborate web of semi-alliances that allows him to do as he pleases, while creating the impression on nearly every...

Re: Nihillism & The Heart: Ulquiorra Cifer Somehow I see Grimmjow taking over HM after all this ends, since his flashbacks have him put forward as a king by the other arrancar (would that technically make them his fraccion as they were loyal to him? sorry to be off-topic) As for Ulquiorra...

interesting theory, but there's no real connection yet between Uzumaki and Uchiha that would suggest this. Also, it's unconfirmed who specifically decided the Uzumaki needed to die, with the Senju as allies, who in turn were allied with Uchiha, it seems unlikely that the Uchiha tried to...

I think Yachiru will forever be stuck in the same role as Unohana: everyone acknowledges she's strong, but we'll never get to see her in action.
