I wouldn't call anything in this chapter "filler" after all those scenes expanded events from the story. Expecially the Armored Titan runing against the wall (we only see him after the wall was destroyed on the manga since that scene was happening from Eren's POV. By the way, they add things...

Evidence is starting to point on that direction indeed: This chapter's flashback, Eren's denial even after he recognized Annie's moves during his first fight with the Titan Female type, Mikasa asking if Eren had some feelings for Annie.
