I don´t think Haruka is dead. In chapter 194, the lunar rabbit come to Watanuki shop. The rabbit mentions that If Watanuki travels in dreams too much time then He wouldn´t be able to return. Maybe Haruka is not dead. Maybe he stay in the dream world...
