According to the Guidebook King is 300 years older than Elaine though, so it wouldn't really make sense

Well, in the manga's first chapters they mentioned that the posters have been updated each year so the current poster isn't the original one. It simply shows how they believe he'll look like in current time (after aging)

Don't know why but I really don't get a bad-guy vibe from the commandments. Maybe it's because Zeldris (?) seems to have such careful and calculating approach to their situation, but I somehow get the feeling that what they are doing is more out of concern for their people's survival or instinct...
