Ichigo's Zanpakutou's name is "Zangetsu", not "White". And it was also said in the manga that when White passed from Masaki to Ichigo, he fused with with Ichigo's Zanakutou, who is Zangetsu. So Zangetsu isn't completely gone and Ichigo was also both a Shinigami and Hollow at the same time...

@ninjabot: White merged with Zangetsu, he didn't eat him. But yeah, Ichigo should still have his Shinigami powers because Tensa Zangetsu would've disappeared otherwise. But it's confusing and I hope we get an answer soon.

Ichigo probably still needs Transcendent powers to beat Bach. It's probably also why Ichibei said that "mere humans" can't win. But that being said, Ichigo is now currently just a Shinigami/Human hybrid, with his Hollow and Quincy powers taken by Bach, so he'll probably have to take them back...

Exactly (the Hollow fused with his Zanpakutou after he got it from Masaki, too, though, but yeah). Which is also why Bach being able to take that Hollow away from him just like that is just weird and needs more of an explanation to make sense. Right now I'm think Bach just took away the powers...

It's possible. I do think he should give us explanations to tie up all loose ends still left hanging. Either that or maybe Shonen Jump could have him do a prequel spin-off series for all that stuff. I hope we get both, actually.

Alright, I'll give you the fact that Bach is still too powerful and that his powers being what they are makes this hopeless, but now Ichigo also has Tsukishima and Ginjou and we also know Uryuu's power can apparently counter Bach's. Sure, Ichigo and Co. don't know that yet and Uryuu himself...

That's not the only possible "Power of Friendship" Win Ichigo can pull. It doesn't involve any of the people who are already his friends. But really, haven't you thought of the possibility that maybe Bach's just trying to help Ichigo? He may have taken away his Quincy and Hollow powers...
