Yeah. It's no wonder the Shokugeki since this arc started, have been severely lacking in quality. If she was still around, I can't imagine ridiculous things like using a chainsaw or claw would be approved.
Megumi losing again. Yup, called it. To add further insult, the author didn't even bother...
Wow, some of you actually think Megumi has a chance to beat Asahi, the same guy who wiped the floor with Jou, Soma and Eishi?
I admire your optimism, but the reality is, that's not going to happen. So, it's best not to get your hopes up. You'll feel less disappointed that way. At best, Megumi...
Yup, here we go again. Megumi will lose the match but will somehow gain the respect of her opponent who recognizes her potential. The author might as well not waste two or three full chapters, showing all that growth she has gained since her defeat to Momo. Why? It makes no difference because...
Seriously, could we have an opponent who doesn't happen to be another one of those overly cocky, egotistical jerks in the mold of Eizan? Just feels so repetitive and boring...
I'm hoping things would get more spice up sooner than later. It's been such a slow arc.
Not surprised Megumi is only the 10th seat. In the first place, she doesn't seem all that enthusiastic to be in the E10. And unlike Hayama, Ryou and Alice, she lacks that strong desire to really want to be the best chef. She's simply contend to just finish her remaining years and graduate...
Please no. Just no. Having Azami coming back for salty vengeance or another over-the-top villain to take his place will be such a drag imho. This series does not need a villain to spice things up... I rather see the good old, intense yet friendly competitions coming back like the Autumn Election...
I know that. But if you ask me, this would have been the best point to wrap up the series. It's like Bleach should have ended after Aizen's defeat. I can only hope the future arcs will redeem the series, but the pessimistic part of me can't help but think it's only going to get worse. We'll just...
This feels like an ending to the series tbh. All the author has to do is put a two years time skip in the next chapter on the day where the jewel generation graduates, Sorina being all lovey-dovey moment, and finally Soma beating his dad. The end.
Thank the lord, it's finally over. If this finale gets dragged on for another week or two, I'd been tearing my hair out.
All in all, I feel this arc was pretty weak. The only saving grace to come out of it is Erina's character development. Other than that, there are quite a few negatives...
Eishi getting more and more hyped how OP he is, but I guess that means when he and Rindou do lose, it's going to become such a big shocker for him. And I for one can't wait to see that smug wipe off his face, especially Azami whom I'm getting tired of reading his cliched, villainous speech...
If there's one positive thing I can say about this whole arc, is the character development of Erina. She has come a long way from being the unlikeable ice queen that she was before. Before the arc, I couldn't imagine her being so chummy with Soma to the point she's willing to playing rocks...
Wow, as if to prove how much of a bigger A-hole he is, Azami didn't even bother to taste the dishes. In the words of Gordon Ramsay, that's just insulting. It's the biggest disrespect a chef can do for another fellow chef.
I'm glad the pace has picked up. Even the most diehard fans should be...
