I don't think it's possible for Naruto to have unlimited clones collecting Natural Energy. As Fukusaku said, Naruto can manage only 3 clones. Anymore than that, he starts to turn into frog. But, in my opinion, if he is able to control the Kyuubi, then he can use kyuubi mode, as well as Sennin...
