Fortunately Yamashita is a Pierrot guy and the main Shippuden animator, so his works pops up relatively often. When he's not directing his own episodes he's doing other things like animation or animation direction. But it's a shame there is so little talent working on the series right now.

The fillers also had their share of bad looking episodes, just like every other Naruto arc so far. The truth is that you're never gonna have a Naruto arc without its share of bad looking episodes. The good looking episodes will come, that you can be sure of.

It comes down to your definition of canon. If canon is everything that happened in the manga story, then this is not. If canon is everything that is relevant to the story in the anime and not just there to waste time, then... I guess you could call this canon. It's still not that important to...

How can something be filler and canon at the same time? :p The ANBU arc that just ended was an anime-original arc. It didn't happen in the manga.

They don't have a single team, but unlike South Park, this kind of hand-drawn animation is an incredibly intensive and time-consuming process. And anime productions in general have to work with very little budget. From what I know, finishing well ahead of the airdate is rarely the case in anime...

That's not impossible, pumping out an episode each week makes for very tight schedules and barely met deadlines. That or they're just hyping up the episode.

Compare the voice of Gaiden Obito to the voice of adult Obito. It's pretty obvious why they changed it. Same deal with Kakashi, he sounded exactly like his adult version in the Gaiden, so they fixed that.

Either because they're having problems ripping it, or because they've finally received legal threats from crunchyroll.com, since they rip all the episodes from there.

Just wanted to point out that these "specials" are not supposed to be special. They are nothing more than two regular episodes aired back-to-back. They call them Specials on Japanese TV, but that doesn't mean anything.
