Love and sex are two different things, but if you're cheating on your girlfriend then you don't really care for her. If you love someone, you wouldn't do something that would hurt them.
Of course, it's different if your woman knows and accepts that behavior.
I think we're probably supposed to assume Kato made it out alive. The other wounded were bleeding for a lot longer, so it would be pretty stupid and anti-climactic if he died and the 100 points for the mission were wasted.
As for 279 predictions... the black ball makes fun of Inaba, Old Man...
Re: Gantz 278 Spoiler Discussion
Nerdo is a newb according to the flashbacks, it was his first mission.
HS death seems probable. And if he is dead, all I'm saying is: I called it and I hope you HS fans realize that nobody in this manga has plotarmor.
I just went back and re-read a lot of this mission out of sheer boredom and a few things became more clear.
For one, Kato already tried to kill HS when the team showed up and tried to save Kei. They could have tried to negotiate, but they didn't.

He does if he is transported back to the room at the moment before he was injured (which would mean he would be cloaked and with H-gun in hand).
Why would HS team up with the people he has been trying to kill until now? Why would he turn his back on his fellow vampires and join the enemy? Most...
I'll ask you all to keep one important fact in mind: In the last few missions, the rules of the black ball have been breaking down. The hunters can be seen by the general populace, there is no time limit anymore, etc.
Any previous 'rules' could very well have also gone out the window, and if...
It would have good shock value, but I doubt that HS will revive Kei. What possible motive could he have? HS will choose freedom if he got the kill. Either that or he will be killed by the Gantzers. He will either wish for his freedom and be written out of the story or he will be killed by...
The H-gun won't kill HS. I realized after thinking it through that it would be too anti-climactic to have a badass character killed off by accident (then again, Oka got killed off-panel)
If HS dies before he goes back to the room, I suspect it will be because Nuri didn't die, and will want...
HS has super-human speed, but I'm not sure if there is a delay with the H gun or not. Or if there is, Anzu and Nuri might have been blocking HS's view of Kato and the gun.
Guess we'll find out in a few weeks :P
I don't think you can equate an act of mercy towards the wounded with forgiveness. She is still upset about Kurono's death on some level.
For HS's part, I'm more than sure he doesn't regard the Gantzers as his allies and probably never will. If he survives, and I regard that as a big if, he...
Maybe not right now, but he's still human. Everyone has a breaking point, and we kind of saw that in the (extremely bad) anime ending of Gantz.
It's also entirely possible Kato will be forced to kill HS as an act of self-defense or to save someone else on the team. It isn't likely HS will...
That is a good point against reviving Kei... his story has more or less been told.
On the other hand, Kato has been an unusually static character in this manga. He started out as the stereotypical good-natured protagonist and more or less still is (running around playing Superman in the Osaka...
I think it's safe to say more people like Kei because he was the main character for the first 237 chapters, whereas HS was introduced by comparison very recently and acts in a primarily antagonist role to the main characters. While there might be a lot of HS fanboys here, such as yourself, it's...
I'm not sure why you would find that surprising. A lot of 4channers hate HS because he killed Kei, so I was assuming that opinion was prevalent here too. They can pump Nishi for information in either case. I also seriously doubt HS is going to tell them what is going on since there really isn't...
