So you're implying that Hakuei had been an imposter before Gyokuen died? I really don't see that happening.... Also, he didn't take his revenge for his sister, but for his brothers, which included much more suffering than hiding and barely getting by. If anything I want Hakuei to empathize with...

But then what do you think happened to the real Hakuei? That she is dead or locked up in some dungeon? And if Hakuei is possessed there's still a possibility that Arba can be driven out of her body in some way to get her eventual POV. It would also be way more dramatic if she really is possessed...

But wouldn't those plotholes also be apparent if Hakuei was an imposter? How did Arba create a clone? Was it always ready for if a dire situation arose? When did she switch? Why did no one notice? The taking over thing is just way more logical with the way the story has been going. Sadly I doubt...
