It almost seems like this chapter and the previous chapter were one chapter that was split in two. Is that their way to keep things going without going into a vacation? I wouldn't mind that as long as we get some kind of content every month.

You're assuming that this is the reason he cut it off, instead of showing a scene elsewhere only to be connected directly or indirectly to that dramatic moment between Casca and Guts. Yea, it could be just as you described, but what makes me think otherwise is mainly the established difference...

Yea, but it all depends on if and how the two threads will connect or not. To break the Casca and Guts resolution just to follow a small battle with a bunch of Giants won't make a lot of sense, unless there is significant narrative importance to this kind of deviation. We're getting another...

Almost too short, somehow, somehow whatever they're doing with Griffith has to connect back to the Guts and Casca part or else the shift wouldn't make sense, I wonder what is going to happen here that will effect the other place and vice versa if at all - since the may be indeed completely...

That would be nice, but i still want to see what happens with Casca and the group before that, a lot of things can happen there and i think the Island arc needs to be resolved first, whatever that may be.

Yea agree, as you mentioned, what Casca may feel for Griffith, or what her feelings of him may be is a very tricky thing to handle, perhaps almost impossible. Her character had a very complicated relationship with him even before the events of the eclipse and we saw how she - as Ellein - reacted...

I agree with you the panels were truly amazing, however i think the last sentence came off as vague on purpose i'm not sure that she referred to Guts, even though he was the one she came to meet and the one she at least tried to start calling out for. Perhaps, the more adequate translations will...

I knew that something would happen , we all speculated that. But it was almost too peaceful too quiet, and too obvious. He will never let them be happy isn't it? What happened in the end there? When she met Guts something triggered? Are we going to see an invasion?

Not willingly,but as a result of something that happens, an event of a sort, or something that splits the group in two, I can only see it happening if the island will come under attack though, that kind of scenario can work only if the situation is chaotic enough.
