agreed...at least stuff in the 3rd chapter moved the plot along and it characterized Rokuro's inner struggle regarding his trauma better, though it looks like Pierrot will be animating it next week

On the official anime website, it says he serves Benio. Also, there are more of his kind all over the island so it makes sense that Benio probably had him since she was a child when her parents were still around.

The "pokemon" is a shikigami designed by the author himself (his design can be found in volume 6) but he never added it in the story most likely because he only thought of it a few months ago; I guess the anime gives him a chance to do so, just my input

Yeah I wanted Seigen to be voiced by Kamiyan too....and Hanakana for Mayura ;o; but Junitan would also fit well for him; Seigen will sound so cool >w<
