Probably their training will allow them to easily overpower their enemies during the next arc. After, it'll become tougher.

Anyway any reader of PoT knows that Echizen will not (can not) lose any match, so it's not as if they were more or less interesting now, at least I think. I wouldn't like to see new abilities which surpass TeniMuhou, as Atobe said, it would imply that Nanjiroh does not have the strongest...
