Kind of disappointing that every chapter discussion just devolves into power level discussion of characters that weren’t even involved in the chapter. Nakaba could write a chapter about a squirrel burying an acorn into the ground and we would be discussing power levels

No, but my friend who knows Japanese watched the episode and no major revelations in this episode. It's mostly cutesy stuff with Diane and king. The next episode appears to be the Gowther/Guila story.

Nothing too major happened but was enjoyable episode. Escanor and the Ten Commandments will most likely get small cameos at the end of the fourth episode. Also I liked the bit with Merlin. She deserves more screen time

For the most part yeah. My only real criticism is that we go from Meliodas beating two commandments, to him dying, to Elizabeth and zaratras, to escanor and esty, to the new goddess in a very short time span. Seems like the author is rushing some major plot point to be developed soon. Just...
