That's a fair point, it's just that 99% of the shipping community justifies the shit writing with the pairings. Especially when the shipping community makes up 90% of the fairy tail fan base. Now every discussion about a recent chapter has people arguing over which characters are going to bang.

And that's where you're wrong. I highly doubt it's even Acnologia coming back at this point, probably just fucking Ichiya and Anna. If Acnologia does come back he'll just taste the "power of friendship" or "the guild's flame".

Fairy tail had so much potential, Hiro had many good outcomes to this arc to work with, endless good possibilities that would've left people satisfied, yet he chooses one of the shittiest ways to end his 11 year series off. Whether or not this is his series, you can't justify him hyping us up...

Alas, the only ones that will be happy with the ending is the fanfiction writers and the shipping fanatics. How is the ending going to play out? 2-3 chapters for resolve, 1 for rebuilding, 2-3 for the ships and 2-3 for the epilogue.
