current luffy is stronger than doffy.back then no. he has beaten stronger opponents with less help which is cracker. cracker is leagues stronger than doffy and he was able to outstall cracker with just nani's help. luffy is just getting stronger and stronger. thats all

LOL, first of all he did not had any trouble with vergo if not he was doing really good. im not sure if u watched that arc at all but when nani was in sanji's body, nani took an explosion to the face from ceasar then proceeded to be affected by the poison by ceasar and immediately switch bodies...
