The arrogance that someone thinks they can tell us what is necessary and what is not. Don't like it? Then don't read it and stop complaining about it. Kishi is involved so it is canon and continues the story. That is Yodo and Shinki. Neither are related to Gaara or Kankuro.

The Naruto Light Novels, the Kiba one shot included, are surprisingly romance heavy. I think it shows that the problem was always with Kishimoto. These couples really come alive and develop when someone else is writing them. Except for SasuSaku. Barely touched upon at all.

Nothing given neither were in the movie or final chapter. The thread derailed.

Looks like the anime might be filling in the blanks with the end couples with filler. Since Kishi said he was embarrassed to write romance, this is the best we might get since Part 3 and the Bolt movie will be about the kids.

I believe Kishi really expects the movie to fill in a lot of the blanks. The movie seems like it will show how all these couples got together. Especially Naruto and Hinata. Maybe he just feels the love stories will work better animated.
