A bit belated, but I will always be team physical media forever until the day I die. I like being able to do what I want with the things I choose to buy & not worry about losing them due to copyright shenanigans.

Probably not, if anything, they might do one GFC winner for every couple batches, that way if one of them struggles & gets an early axe, another is there to pick up the slack in another attempt to break the curse as long as possible.

I just realized that tonight will be the night that we get word on who the remaining participants in this year's GFC & how many there are. I'm gonna guess that there's gonna be 6 of them in total.

I agree, anime openings are only 90 seconds long & as such, their time is something to be used wisely as it often serves as the viewer's first impressions of the series, meaning that there should be as much relevant info as possible in there to manage audience's expectations for plot & tone...
