Yes, it got stolen right before madara arrives. The good thing is, Madara dropped Rikkuodu's tools, where the twins with the kyuubi's chakra ( kinkaku and ginkaku) is sealed, and was retrieved by Gai's team. It might play a role at reviving naruto.
