This arc has made Vinland Saga one of my favourite WORKS I've ever read. Seriously, elevated from simply favourite manga to favourite anything. It's about catharsis, pathos, escaping your past and coming to terms with how no one could really escape violence back in those days, even if they tried...

The author sure likes the extravagant size of every single thing in the world, 100 million, 100 billion, blah blah... It's getting kind of tiring. Suspension of disbelief and all that, but as a logistics manager it kinda throws me off to think of a week with food and supplies for 100 billion...

I guess this forum is pretty slow? Liar Game is one of the most intriguing works out there, it's like a more adult version of Detective Conan/Gamble Fish, something that really gives readers both clues how to solve situations and the final payoff. Just amazing stuff.

Gotta love those amazing illustrations of their inner beasts, one thing I absolutely adore about this manga. Also, this Four Beast stuff is pretty gruesome material for a modern shounen.

Re: Fairy Tail 301 Discussion / 302 Predictions Holy... like said above, this chapter crystallized every reason why I started reading this manga - hilarious, perfect comedic timing and dragons. I don't often laugh out loud when reading shonen, but boy did that dragon get more than a few roaring...
