Well anyway I'll be rooting for Deathpierce in the sequel. The thought of him becoming a major villain is still hilarious though, just imagine.
Well Arthur's foster brother Kay already exists in NNT so there's no doubt he'll became a pain in the ass for Arthur given his jealousy. So there's...
Galahad is the apparently the ultimate knight who ended up finding the Holy Grail and then ascended into heaven. I'm sure you can just Google the Knights and who they were, don't want to turn this discussion too off-topic especially since Nakaba is obviously going for his own take on the...
This iteration of Lancelot is obviously not going to be anywhere close to Arthurian Lancelot. Excuse my language but the man basically cucked Arthur to death more or less. Nakaba has too much of a hard on for his version of Arthur to ever let anything like that happen to him. To sum it up...
Poor Escanor, Nakaba keeps doing him dirty. I know he confirmed a while ago that Merlin and Arthur's relationship is apparently strictly platonic but come on now. Also Merlin's entire deal is that she can't love or care for another person but she's done nothing but cling to Arthur (both...
Cath being a villain was something that I called a long time ago, primarily because of his namesake in relation to the Arthurian legend. Just wish it was done better.
Also poor Escanor. Guy spends his entire life fawning over Merlin only to get an emotionless kiss when he died while Arthur is...
Nice to see this reveal was as retarded as I thought it would be. Don't really understand people praising this chapter, but different strokes for different folks I guess.
What an absolute trashfire. I'll read this for Merlin's backstory to see how hilariously stupid it is then I'm done with this manga. My patience can't handle another arc or heaven forbid an entire spinoff with Arthur.
Oh I certainly wasn't trying to compare the writing between the two. For all the problems that I think Magi had especially post timeskip, its still leagues above whatever Nakaba has been doing with NNT. I was just pointing out the similarities between the two.
Wait a second, a special child who was essentially born to be a king and has both powers of light and dark in him and is shaping up to be some sort of misunderstood/manipulated villain during what looks like the final arc of the manga? I'm getting some major deja vu here...
Never cared for Arthur but I'm glad that at the very least Merlin decided to keep the scars. It at least gives some meaning to Escanor's mostly useless sacrifice.
Can't really say I care for Vivian or Arthur, at this point I'm just reading to see what the deal is with Merlin and then I'll probably put this series down for a while if it continues.
Also this was a nice little touch I guess, I didn't notice the sun on the bottle my first time reading...
Wonder if Nakaba is going to have Merlin actually rock those scars from now on. Maybe she'll start wearing a mask? Speaking of which I also wonder if the glass who will receive Merlin's love one day is just going to be Escanor's reincarnation (if he gets one) or an actual new character. Knowing...
Wait I actually forgot that Merlin's current appearance isn't her real one. So are these scars going to somehow affect her real body or did Nakaba forget that she's actually a three thousand year old loli?
