It was explained in the early chapters of Tokyo Ghoul that Rinkakus are very 'fluid', their body can soften and harden (I can't remember the exact explanation, but that's more or less the reasoning for it).

Kanou had probably left Rue Island already with his squad of one-eyed ghouls. Been waiting for a long time to see what Kanou's researches has amounted to. Or the Qs Squad probably got held up by Kanou's one-eyes.

Can somebody tell me who shouted "brother!" when Yoshitoki was shot, and to whom it was meant? Or was that just a suprised expression like "oh my!" ? Also young Yoshitoki looks similar to Furuta.

When Furuta said that he wants super peace while giving a backward-facing peace sign, it's similar to as giving the middle finger in Britain. Not sure if he's giving the finger to Eto, or to the whole world in general. Just thought of pointing that out.

I don't understand the last part "the special class followed his master to death". Does it mean that two investigators died then? If it's for Juuzou as to how Shinohara is hospitalised, it seems out of place. I can't think of any apprentice-master like pair that might turn up dead.
