I think Touka's role is Kaneki's future waifu, cause all what she did (relevant to the plot) in second part of the original and :re is worrying about Kaneki (mostly), she might purpose to Kaneki sooner than we think hahaha (wishful talk tbh).

Well, from the beginning of :re, I didn't get why Sasaki didn't force Saiko to go training, I mean she later have to fight powerful ghouls on her on, now in this chapter we know that Saiko is natural genius and her being Otaku is the reason of her kagune's shapes, so no wonder Sasaki didn't...

So why some people complain about craitivity and mental state affects the kagune shape, wasn't this the case from the beginning? anyone would've known that because of the different shapes of kagune every character had, I mean Eto talking about it didn't add much to my informations about ghouls...
