Can't blame Soma for only starting to make his dish at the end of the chapter. That woman cook faster than I can prepare an instant ramen... It's too rushed. Theme introduction, cooking process and judge reaction all in one chapter? It's official, then; This series got axed.

I couldn't agree more. That last panel really nailed it. This series is very underrated. It's actually my second favorite next to One Piece. I wonder if it'll garner more attention once the anime is released...

I don't think we'll ever get a part 3 of Tokyo Ghoul with such a happily-ever-after ending. The series has pretty much run its course, too, with so many rushed fights and ridiculous asspulls (Eto managed to restore her decapitated head, only to die moments later while Kuroiwa survived the trauma...

Whatever happens to Urie's vow to retrieve Shirazu's body? Or Nico's attempt to curry favor with Kaneki by providing info to save Akira? Better yet, what becomes of Kuzen, Arata and Shachi?

The ending feels rushed like hell, with so many loose ends left untied. It's not axed, is it?

So, was Chapter 176 included as one of the last three chapters (up to Chapter 178)? It does feel like a bit rushed, though not as abrupt as Bleach ending... I'm not sure how Ishida could tie up all the loose ends with the few remaining chapters. Whatever happened to Arata and Kuzen? What about...

It may be too soon for us to reach that conclusion. Both Naki and Eto were presumed to be dead, and yet they returned in this very same chapter. Even Koma and Irima themselves were able to escape death once. No, the one used by Arima does not have a hand guard and it was destroyed by Kaneki...

Arima only got injured thrice in the entire series; two of them were small cuts to his blind side (against Minami and Kaneki) while the last one was inflicted by himself (when he took his own life). While I won't deny that Furuta and Suzuya are powerful combatants, they are still nowhere near...

So much for Megumi being better than Hayama/Kurokiba/Alice...

Not a bad chapter. It really shows just strong Furuta is to be able to give Kaneki a hard time. For some reason, though, he seem less... unstoppable compared to Arima.

And I thought Sns couldn't get any worse after the last chapter strip fest...
