A bit late, but chapter 15 of Devil Girl had some really cool imaginary. [#015] Hey! Devil Girl! | MANGA Plus Class of Brain is sidestepping the 'all aliens are humanoid' trope and giving us a fight between a sentient tree and a colony of bacteria. [#032] Class of Brains | MANGA Plus And Drama...

Issue #45: 1) Dr: Whoot! Seems like Shuli's secret will be safe. It's great to see an action chapter again after the emotional ones, and that entrance was the cherry on top. 2) Kiyoshi: Typical Kiyoshi. I wonder if that dog's got a good nose on him. 3) Shinobi: Hahaha! I did not expect him to...

Votes #44: (20 minutes late, apparently. Oh well) (Am I the only one who keeps getting server error messages when I'm trying to post or edit something?) 1) Kiyoshi: So I was both right and wrong. "That's why I'm here" indeed. Though it seems they were still underestimating the gravity of the...

The Dragon Ball Super manga started before the anime though (only by a few weeks, but still). You're probably thinking of the movies Battle of Gods and Resurrection F, which were also written (or at least heavily modified) by Toriyama and then adapted into both versions. The canon debate...

Reviews from a week ago: 1) WW: That's a great twist, with a great set-up. I very much wonder what's going to happen next, because this witch wasn't a bad guy and she might have her own opinion on what's happening. I also wonder if this was planned from the start or if the author retconned it...

This one might have a reason, if the series is indeed ending very soon. Though they usually do that for the penultimate chapter, and I find it hard to believe Sakamoto would be ending next week... Maybe they want to get it out of the way for the birthday covers?

lol no, it's not respect. It's not like Goku invented the move, he's just using it a lot (I don't think he ever invented a technique of his own. Did he?). Vegeta learned it from the same master Goku did, he has just as much right to use it. He just doesn't want to because of its association with...

I mean... Vegeta kinda mastered instant transmission and then decided to never use it again just because it's Goku's signature move. The guy knows a thing or two about spite. He probably can't. That's why Ichi was grilling him. The guy is acting like such a know-it-all, but most of his...

Votes for the last two weeks. Issue #40: (not ranked) The Ura Files: - pretty sure that's not how you are supposed to wear that uniform - hi, Ruri Oni - that boy is way too hung up on the past. And other things - secret exorcist organisation already? - hi there, Yodaka - don't try this at...

1) The Promised Neverland: I totally forgot she was supposed to have lost her memories. Cute chapter, I'm glad they gave us some more on this character. 2) KGB: What happened to the other Mr Sushi's? I remember there being 7-8 of them. Regardless, he's got great supporters. 3) Kiyoshi: Oh no...

Yes, I've seen that. It's been mentioned multiple times. The general aesthetic (use of shadows, exposed chest, pose) still reminds me of Bleach though. It's an even number though. 😛 (Sorry, just making fun of English being weird. Carry on.)

Very late chapter reviews for the double issue: What's with everyone and their grandmother losing an arm at the end of the chapter? I know coincidences happen, but THREE times? And it wasn't even the usual suspects. 1) Kiyoshi: This is reminding me a lot of the Blue Academy arc in Ron...

@Shinuki no Reborn Couldn't you just use :new for series that are new in the ranking? The infinity loop is throwing me off. Raving about the bike was a character moment. But yeah, he's been sidelined hard. I hope he does something in this new arc when they start fighting.

For me, the exact order changes week to week, so I'm gonna work with categories for the current ranking. Invested, consistently good (usually top 5): Ultimate Exorcist Kiyoshi Shinobi Undercover Cannon Master Invested, though not every chapter hits (sometimes top 5): Kagurabachi Ichi the Witch...

Votes for this week. It's funny, the magazine now has 8 series I'm really looking forward to each week and 9 series I don't care for at all, with only 3 in-betweens. I don't think that's ever happened before. 1) Kiyoshi: So we're having another Nue situation. Wasn't she stuck on the mountain...
