good for the director! teaser looks nice, I’m not gonna be expecting big things from the adaptation but I think I’ll give it a try at least

y’all making me nervous for an anime adaptation I’m not even sure I’m gonna watch 😭

This hurts so much because City is such a good sequel-ish to Nichijou

Hopefully not another Sakamoto situation. I would be kinda hyped to see hot girls and great animation all at once. It really does feel like last time we got a high budget ecchi anime was Ishuzoku Reviewers. Animation was literally insane. Surely this tweet doesn’t sound like a good omen lmao

SD’a case was pretty unfortunate. It got a studio which is not exactly known for either good (aside from a few ones) or high budget anime adaptation. Not even the ones that are positively criticized, like Dr. Stone, got a higher budget than an average one. Also SD is literally all about people...

Honestly the only ones that could potentially get a decent boost from an anime adaptation are Kagurabachi and Ichi The Witch. Kagurabachi’s literally Jujutsu Kaisen 2.0. Not in terms of story or anything, but it’s as clear as the blue sky that the characters, the designs, the art, the overall...

Nue sells around 20k in the first month of sales. It really doesn’t sound logical for every volume to have reached 114k thanks to backlog. If it was case, we would have anyways seen growth for the new volumes, which has never happened. Circulation numbers are not sales. Like everyone else...

Kagurabachi’s covers really do make a great job at selling its characters and visuals. Honestly I dropped that manga at chapter 3 and never picked it up ever again years ago, also because I thought it was going to get axed, but I have to say those covers are making me wanna give it another try...

Kiyoshi’s propaganda really needs to be studied because it’s both unbelievable and frustrating at this point… It’s unsuccessful, it’s not popular, it won’t sell, grow or show any signs of something that deserves to be in the magazine, yet… it’s getting another push. How bad can favoritism get...

KnY’s last arc was definitely not, if you’re referring to Countdown to Sunrise. On the other hand, which I presume this is the one you’re referring to, Infinity Castle was universally praised indeed.

Ichi the witch is building up to something really bad, isn’t it? The last few panels also took me off guard.

the demon lord of the demon lord of the demon lords next 🤩

Can’t say I’m pleased to see UD surviving, I just don’t enjoy it at all and I would have liked seeing other interesting stories being told. But I’m happy for the author! Both UD and Kinato’s rankings were sooo unexpected. Still unsure about Kinato surviving though

I’m sorry but Gakuro’s harem and his relationships with the girls are just not that deep or note worthy… it’s just a basic harem full of cliches turn arounds to try and make every girl fall in love with him, like every other harem in existence. And yes I do agree that cast is now way too big...

That spread in Ichi “Boy, I love you all sooo much // and I hate your rotten guts” went hard as fuck. Finally the arc gets good again. Fujimine is peak
