I think the Kage's immunity to the genjutsu is due to being made from Zetsu bodies, you can see that all the Zetsus in this chapter were also unaffected by Madara's genjutsu so that would explain why the Hokages were immune as well.
Re: Well...
I believe that scene was only in the anime and it was Tobirama who used the genjutsu.
I can't say I agree with that, I'm sure it takes a while to extract a Bijuu but remember the 3 tails? it was already free from it's jinchuriki and akatsuki still took a long time to seal it.
Reminds me of his fight with the 5 kages when he was forced to use Susanoo to break out, when they said he was pressuried 5 vs 1 he brought in 5 Susanoo's for each Kage, I get the feeling he might grow more arms or something.
If obito had taken a little less time to lose then Madara would have been a goner, if Minato had stabbed black zetsu then Madara would have lost, if almost anything except exactly what happened had happened then Madara would lose.
Hashirama had the guy pinned down and out of the fight, imagine...
He had NO choice but to pay attention, dude was bound and unable to do anything, it's not like he had options and chose to focus on Obito, Obito losing was his only hope and since that happened Madara got lucky and escaped.
Madara had no way of knowing that Obito would get weakened precisely when he needed him too, had they taken 20 seconds longer to defeat Obito then Madara would have lost, he only barely escaped.
Yes he planned a lot of things in advance, but they didn't all work out in the end, it's hard to...
I don't think Madara took anything in this fight, he didn't know Naruto would beat Obito and he got lucky when the Bijuus were pulled out of Obito and he could revive himself, you mentioned that he let himself be bound but had he done that a few minutes earlier he would have been sealed by now...
I was thinking that as well, before any wound was useless and he can only be defeated if he is bound, unable to move or use techniques and somebody seals him.
Now he can be injured just like anybody else.
^ Again I thought Aang died so young because of his time stuck in the iceberg, Korra even says it in the first episode of season 1 when she tells Katara " Aang's time in the iceberg really caught up with him didn't it?"
Actually she said she learned about their break-up while she was meditating and seeing visions of her past, she didn't know she was single when she first entered the giant tree.
Personally while I liked the finale I found the whole Kaiju vs Kaiju battle to be a little meaningless, why did Korra turn to a giant blue thingy? and if she can do it because of who she is and not because she is the avatar then why didn't we have giant tenzin and bolin as well?
Re: Naruto 655 Discussion/ 656 Predictions ** No chapter next week **
I never understood the forgiving serial killers mentality, it's like when Batman catches the joker and puts him in jail, the joker frees himself, kills thousands and gets sent back to prison. At some point it's simply more...
