The thing is the mangaka isn't just going to kill off the main cast. If not Morg saving them then someone esle would have, if not anyone esle then plot would of written them surviving anyways. That part was entirely a plot device for the HV activation.

I think Alibaba is referring to Judar and his teleportation method. He either going somehow get Judar to mass transport goods or somehow cultivate Judar's teleport and the knowledge that he received when Judar took in the black ruhk.
The mangaka really likes to get historical inspirations. The Kou Empire roots in Chinese Imperial inspirations, so its I'm not surprised that she would start off with agriculture for trade.
