You could be right, but at this point I'm still leaning toward something else being the difficult decision. I think it depends on why it is considered a 'difficult' decision. Is it difficult because it is painful, or is it difficult because you don't know which decision is the right answer...

Perhaps in order to save (or destroy) the world Jiraiya will have to summon Minato (with the Yin Nine-Tails) and join the Nine-Tails Yin/Yang. Then he must choose which one, Minato or Naruto, will be the container of the joined Nine-Tails (the toad did refer to the 'chosen' pupil as 'they')...

Re: 377 Predictions [Naruto] I totally agree with this. I think that is why I think Jiraiya isn't going to die yet. The events that happened just before the battle with Pain don't quite fit together for me. The way I read it, Kishi made it seem as if Jiraiya disguised himself as that guy...

Re: 377 Predictions [Naruto] I don't believe Jiraiya is going to die (at least not real soon) either. The toad predicted he would have to make a difficult choice and the path he takes would determine the fate of the world. I personally don't think that it is was difficult to choose to...
