the whole problem with Ace's death is that many characters who are weaker than Ace have survived much worse or maybe the same while Ace's dies from one blow...ANd he didn't battle as much as others... I can also understand why people still doubt Ace's death..no one - until now that is- have died...

actually, yes IT IS THE TIME for the escape. The aim was all the time to FREE Ace - not to start a war. If WB wanted a war, he wouldn't have waited till the Day of Ace's execution. Also, the marines used Ace to lure WB to extinguish him not to start a war with all the pirates all over the world...
