They're currently on Tougen Anki, which is fine enough (it's not great, but not unwatchable). Nue won't be getting any sharp animation and might have a little CGI, but it's not disaster-level.

I hope this isn't censored like Ayakashi Triangle. It'd be nice if we got a good adaptation for this, but my hopes aren't high.

Agree with mostly everything you're saying but Animal Signal's digital sales are awful and likely worse than Hal's (which aren't good either).

It also sells 25K physically and doesn't do much digitally. Sensen Senki's going to either do around those numbers or end up with a bit more. The bigger thing which brought attention to it was the reprint before release, that's most likely what brought scalper's attention.
