Yeah, I think it had to be a power that he already had too. Especially since the glow is coming from his heart, mirroring Shoto’s latest power. It’s could be an ice related quirk that only manifested after Shoto hit Dabi with that cold wave - Dabi’s chest area looks really frozen.

Yeah, I like that the color page makes clear that what’s going on on Shoto’s right side is just ice/condensation rather than actually being fire or cold fire. Just balance between the sides. Also, the spiked icy right side hair is something that we have not seen before. Looks pretty cool.
