Your initial argument wasn't about being disliked but only about being axed, Green Green Greens and MamaYuyu, for example, had a fanbase but were axed either way, meaning they had "no potential" if we follow your argument

This way of viewing things is really depressing man, I don't understand how it's possible to think that no axed series ever had more potential than a successful series that came after it Try applying this logic to any other media and it completely collapses, a lot of classic movies were box...

Because while Saito has previously shown that he can be biased, early rankings and early color pages are and have always been the most reliable indicator of a newbie's odds of survival pre-vol 1 release, it's not that hard to understand lol Your hate against Saito and "generic" battle shonen...

Akane's anime came veryyy late which obviously affected its boost potential, give Akane an anime a year earlier and it would probably have done way better Both manga got screwed by their respective circumstances, so I don't think it's wise to fanfare like this

Considering that Neru's author tweeted that he was aiming for a serialization just a few weeks ago and that the serialization process takes months, I think it's very unlikely to see him come back for this next batch

When a page in chapter 3 explicitly mentions that Kaminagi acts like a knight to girls that are her type, I don't think it's a stretch to think the character was initially a lesbian. If this page's wording is different in the original japanese version, I understand how the JP readers' and the...

I think it's important to consider the opportunity cost of promoting Shinobi over other series when evaluating if pushing the series is worth it. While it technically doesn't cost anything, is pushing Shinobi the best thing Shueisha can do using the KGB/Ichi duo's popularity? Is giving two...

Some people (myself lol) actually were hyped from the first preview image, but it feels good to see so much hype now, I hope the chapter will deliver because the cover and color pages look absolutely insane 🔥

I didn't actually read the first chapter, but from what I've seen on Twitter, this series definitely feels fun and well executed (and its art is gorgeous, so it's sad its cover is so mediocre in comparison), so I'm not surprised by its reception on Twitter That being said, its plot is probably...

After the heated discussions the last few months about how the new Jump series launched by Saito are generic, I'm also pretty surprised that this is the reception to this series, it almost feels hypocritical lol

I usually am not the biggest fan of first covers either, they often look nice, but most of the time they do not really catch my eye. Under Doctor's cover just feels like an example of a thought out cover: it's dynamic, it has a strong visual identity with the MC design and the great color...

I will cite the elements that, to me, makes Under Doctor's cover much more dynamic and full of personality compared to Kaigeki no Kinato's (KnK): - Under Doctor's MC's design is original, with elements that make him stand out (the hair, the glasses). KnK's MC looks very generic and doesn't have...

Let's not pretend this cover has as much personality as Someone Hertz's or Under Doctor's, this feels bland and generic. If someone told me to say which is an instant hit between this or SH based on the cover, I would definitely pick SH because its cover looks way more original I also...

From this little preview, Alien Headbutt feels like it could be a nice surprise, definitely the chara design I like the most from the 3 This title and chara design makes me think that it could be some kind of weird alien delinquent manga, so I hope it'll be unique Sadly not as interested by...

Fuck this shit man
