Shiryuu followed blackbeard because he was waiting for someone as powerfull as Blackbeard, and he couldn't stand being inside the prison anymore. Also Shiryuu got invited to the crew since he gave the antidote to Blackbeard.
This is the first filler i actually enjoyed,
zanpaktou's that have betrayed their masters they probably are being controlled to leave their masters. Either that or the zanpaktou's are thinking their masters are too weak to handle them and wanna test them through a battle.
